As a resource of the C&MA, Envision helps to identify and develop future missional leaders who innovate, establish, and strengthen communities of faith in key urban environments. We do this through short-term trips, internships, go global careers, leadership development, and ministry resources.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of our National Office team in Toronto, and more than 12 site coordinators serving around the world and here in Canada.

For the past 2 years, Ryan has served as Director of Leader Development for the C&MA, and Director of Envision Canada. And now, a new adventure begins as Vice President of Nurture and Development for the C&MA. Ryan has been married to Christana for 21 years, with three kids aged 17, 15 & 11. He has served the local church for almost 18 years. First, as the Student Ministries Director and Teaching Pastor at First Alliance Calgary, and then 10 years as Senior Pastor at Westlife Church Calgary.

Frances serves as the Assistant Director of Envision, providing oversight for the Envision office team in Toronto as well as the ongoing development of our international and domestic sites. Prior to Envision, Frances served on the pastoral staff of her local church leading Pastoral Care and Administration. She and her husband Randy have been married for 8 years and have two young kidlets; Timothy (5) and Amelia (2). Frances loves competing in anything from sports to board games, thrift shopping, creating warm and inviting spaces and trying out new recipes in her Instant Pot.

Ben serves as the Coordinator for Internship and Sites, developing resources and opportunities for individuals who want to engage in cross-cultural ministry in Canada and internationally. A recent graduate of Alliance Theological Seminary (M.Div Missions and Intercultural Studies), he is passionate about influencing the next generation of global church leaders to serve God's mission. He has lived in Canada, France, Hong Kong and the United States and is married to Irene, a former physical therapist who is now undergoing her PhD at McMaster University in Biblical Studies. Together, they enjoy museums, design, shopping, and especially good conversations around great food.
