Location Profile
Latin America is a diverse region of over 650 million people spanning more than twenty countries from Mexico to the southern tip of Argentina. With a rich history shaped by indigenous cultures, colonial influence, and global exchange, Latin America is known for its vibrant music, art, food, and traditions. Nearly half the population is under the age of 30, making it one of the youngest regions in the world.
While Christianity is the predominant religion and most would identify as Catholic or Protestant, many young people are growing up in a cultural context that is religious in name but distant from an active relationship with Christ. Amid rapid urbanization, social inequality, and economic challenges, an entire generation of over 300 million youth is searching for purpose, identity, and hope.
