Meet the Team

For over 22 years, Ray and Cindy Perry have served with the C&MA in Canada as pastors in youth ministry and missions. As Ray and Cindy begin their new work with Envision Canada in Mexico City, they are passionate about reaching the lost and feel called to journey alongside both Canadians and Mexicans in fulfilling God’s mandate to make disciples of all nations. Ray and Cindy have three grown children and have recently added a fourth to the crew (their daughter’s husband).

About the Site

Mexico City is one of the world’s most populous mega-cities with an estimated twenty-four million inhabitants living inside an area of 750 square kilometers. It is situated over 7,400 feet above sea level and is one of oldest cities in the world. Mexican culture has significant influence in Latin America and the world. Although close to 90 percent of the people here would consider themselves Catholic and live in a highly “religious” context, few people in Mexico City are actively involved in the local church and have yet to experience the Gospel.

The team of C&MA international workers and the national Alliance church in Mexico are taking many opportunities to reveal the truth of the one God who satisfies every need and gives hope to the hopeless. They are doing this in urban and rural areas, with Mexicans, indigenous people groups, and international communities, via church planting, justice and compassion ministries, leadership development and prayer.
